QL Signal Factor 500

Pro+

Every S&P 500 name scored after the close by the QL five-pillar engine, ranked into quintiles, sealed with a SHA-256 receipt in QL Rewind and graded forward against SPY. The map clusters the 500 by their pillar fingerprint — the tape on one axis, the fundamentals on the other — so you see which regime a name sits in, not only where it ranks. The quintile spread is the record; it accrues in public whether it works or not.

Method (what a reader can check)

Sealing. Each night the 500 are scored by the same engine that scores every ticker page, the ranking is trimmed to a stable shape, hashed and chained to yesterday's manifest in QL Rewind. The hash in the tile is the receipt. Grading. A name's forward return is measured from the close after the seal to the first close on or after the horizon date, minus SPY on the same dates; a snapshot is graded only when the horizon has fully elapsed and at least 300 names price. Regimes. Rule-based bands on the pillar fingerprint, frozen per engine version; a name is attributed to the regime and quintile it held at sealing. Simulated replay. The pre-launch curve replays the technical and momentum pillars on historical bars only — the fundamental, options and microstructure pillars did not exist for those dates and are not backfilled. It is labelled simulated everywhere it appears and is never mixed into the sealed record. Metric. Headline numbers are average excess returns per quintile and the spread between them; no hit rate is quoted.

Not investment advice. The QL signal is a systematic read of public market data; rankings change nightly and the record reports realized outcomes after the fact. Excess returns are price returns vs SPY over identical dates, before costs.

Frequently asked questions

What is QL Signal Factor 500?

Every S&P 500 member scored after the close by the same five-pillar QuantLogix engine that scores every ticker page, ranked by composite into five quintiles, clustered into regimes by its pillar fingerprint, sealed with a SHA-256 hash in QL Rewind, and graded forward against SPY once 21 and 63 trading days have elapsed.

How is the ranking graded?

For a sealed snapshot whose horizon has fully elapsed, each name's return from the close after the seal to the first close on or after the horizon date is measured minus SPY over the same dates. Names keep the quintile and regime they held at sealing. The record reports the average excess return per quintile, the Q1 minus Q5 spread and the Spearman rank IC of the composite and each pillar. No hit rate is quoted.

What is the simulated replay?

A pre-launch curve that replays only the technical and momentum pillars on historical daily bars, rebalanced monthly. The fundamental, options and microstructure pillars did not exist for those dates and are not reconstructed. It is labelled simulated everywhere and is never mixed into the sealed record, which accrues from launch.

Who can see what?

The graded record, the regime and call census, the simulated replay, the methodology and the top 25 rows of the ranking are public. The full ranked table with every pillar and the regime map are part of the Pro plan; the rest of the table is withheld server-side, not hidden with CSS.
