QL Founder Ledger

TipRanks scores analysts. QL Promise Ledger scores public-company management against their earnings calls. Nobody scores founders — private companies live in an accountability vacuum where dated public claims ("profitable next year", "IPO in 2026", "flying by 2025") evaporate unexamined. This ledger keeps them: every claim is a dated, verbatim, source-linked quote, resolved only against what observably happened — IPOs from the identity ledger, rounds from the recorded capital trail, and curated receipts that carry their own evidence URLs. Never a model's opinion. The roll-up is the Founder Credibility Index, scored with exactly the Promise Ledger discipline: firm claims weigh double, thin records shrink toward 50, and a founder ranks only after 2 resolved claims.

The Credibility Board

Founders ranked by the index — kept-share of resolved claims, firm promises weighing 2×, shrunk toward 50 on thin samples. A founder below 2 resolved claims shows as accruing, never scored.

Resolution mix

Every claim on the ledger by current status. Open claims turn overdue the day their stated deadline passes with no receipt.

The Ledger

The claims behind the board — the exact words, the labels, and the receipt that graded each one. Grades judge the claim as spoken against what observably happened, never the wisdom of making it. Disputes are carried on the claim, not erased.

How grading works

1 · Only pinned claims enter

A claim needs a date, a speaker, a verbatim source-linked quote, and a pinned deadline or quantity. Vision statements with neither can never be graded and never enter the ledger.

2 · Only evidence grades

Resolutions come from the identity ledger (IPO claims), the recorded funding history (fundraise claims), or a curated receipt with its own evidence URL. No evidence, no grade — an AI never decides an outcome.

3 · One credibility, one math

The index is the Promise Ledger formula, verbatim: firm claims weigh 2× soft, kept-share shrinks toward 50 under a Beta prior on thin samples. Credibility means one thing across QuantLogix.

4 · Honest edges

Shutdowns moot a company's open claims — mooted claims leave every score and are reported. Overdue is not missed: a claim fails only on evidence, and stays overdue until a receipt lands.

QL Founder Ledger is diagnostic research about public statements, not investment advice. Quotes link their sources; paraphrases are labelled; grades judge each claim as spoken against observed public outcomes and carry their own evidence links. Where a company or founder disputes a characterization, the dispute is noted on the claim. Nothing here judges the wisdom of any decision, and past delivery does not predict future delivery.
