QL Fair Value Desk

The quarterly valuation conversation with your auditor, prepared in minutes: describe the private holdings on your book and get one evidence pack per position — the last-round anchor, the marks Fidelity and T. Rowe filed with the SEC, the observed secondary print, the public-comps bridge and the QL model mark — every line dated and sourced, arranged in the order an ASC 820 walk actually follows, and hash-stamped so you can prove what the evidence said when you marked. Evidence, not an opinion: the desk never tells you what your mark should be. Nothing you enter is stored.

Your book

One row per holding. The slug is the company's QuantLogix identifier (as in quantlogix.ai/private-companies URLs — e.g. stripe, anthropic, epic-games). Carrying values are optional — with them the desk says where your mark sits inside the evidence; without them you still get the dated evidence lines.

How the desk reads

1 · Anchor
The last disclosed round or tender — a real transaction, with its age printed. Older than 18 months and the pack flags it: expect calibration questions.
2 · Observable
SEC-filed N-PORT fund marks (a fiduciary's sworn carrying value, per share and per class) and the secondary-market implied valuation, each on its own as-of date.
3 · Corroboration
The public-comps bridge and the blended QL Mark — clearly labelled models, never presented as observations.
4 · Concordance
Where your carrying value sits inside that evidence, in plain words: corroborated, inside the range, above it, below it — plus the flags an auditor would raise.

Method, stated

The desk composes QuantLogix's existing records — QL Private Marks (the model mark), QL Mark Tape (SEC-filed fund marks), QL Secondary Tape (observed prints) — around your own holdings, and publishes no rival number. Legs are omitted, never invented: a company with no secondary print simply has no secondary line. The last-round anchor assumes the disclosed post-money corresponds to that round and ignores interim dilution. N-PORT fund marks price a specific share class; when your holding is a different class the comparison is indicative and the pack names the class the funds marked. A carrying value is called corroborated by a leg when it sits within ±15% of it. The per-pack hash is SHA-256 over the canonicalized pack; re-running with identical evidence reproduces it exactly. This is not a valuation opinion, not a 409A, and not investment advice — the judgement stays with the preparer and their auditor.
