🏛️ Congress vs Engine

Do politicians beat the machine?

Every day, the direction Congress has been trading (STOCK Act disclosures) and the QuantLogix engine make the same directional calls on the same names. When the forecast resolves, both are scored against the same outcomes — and the whole record is public. Brier score is lower-is-better; a coin flip is 0.250.
The honest caveat: congressional trades are disclosed with up to a 45-day lag and reflect long-horizon positions, not five-day bets. This scoreboard tests whether that direction still predicts the engine's short horizon — a deliberately hard test. Congress's implied probability sits in the narrowest band of any opponent, and buying counts more than selling.
