Vantora, known as UP.Labs until September 2026, builds AI-native companies inside large industrial enterprises. Its teams of founders and senior product and AI engineers embed with a partner company, find problems worth roughly $50M to $100M of annual EBITDA, and build a venture or capability to solve them. The partner invests, is the first customer, holds equity from the start and can later fold the venture into its core business. The company calls this model Sovereign AI. The work runs on COSMOS, Vantora's own ontology product for enterprise operating data. Porsche AG was the launch partner in 2022. Alaska Airlines, J.B. Hunt, Wabash and TDG (parent of Ashley Furniture) have since joined. Vantora has launched 17 ventures, targets 20 by the end of 2026 and says revenue grew 79% year over year. It was founded by John Kuolt, formerly of BCG's venture arm. In September 2026 it took more than $100M from Silversmith Capital Partners for a majority stake, its first outside capital. WSJ Pro, citing a person familiar with the deal, put the valuation at about $200M.
