Loft Orbital builds and operates satellite infrastructure as a service. It began with a "condosat" hosted-payload model — several customers sharing one spacecraft — and has since moved up-market into sovereign programs, dedicated satellites and full constellations-as-a-service, where a government or data company owns the mission but Loft procures the bus, integrates the payload, books the launch and flies the fleet. Its Hub universal payload adapter and Cockpit mission-control software are the abstraction layers that decouple a customer payload from the underlying bus, letting Loft stay bus-agnostic: it has procured 50+ platforms from 5 suppliers (Longbow/OneWeb heritage, Airbus, Apex Space and others) and keeps them shelf-ready for integration. A second act is on-orbit AI — a dedicated AI for Space business unit selling edge compute and a partner application marketplace on multi-sensor satellites. Customers include NASA/JPL, Microsoft, Anduril, BAE Systems, the U.S. Space Force, CNES, ESA, EarthDaily Analytics, Helsing and Eutelsat.
