Future Ventures was launched in 2018 by Steve Jurvetson (co-founder of DFJ) and Maryanna Saenko (ex-Khosla, Airbus Ventures, DFJ) and has raised three consecutive $200M funds (2019, 2021, 2023). It makes seed and early-stage investments of roughly $3-6M in frontier technology — space, fusion, robotics, neurotech, synthetic biology and AI — and uses SPVs to concentrate into capital-intensive winners.
