How the QL Score works tap to expand

QL Score is a 0–100 directional composite that blends six factors into one comparable-ranking number. It is an analytical aid for sorting a peer set — not investment advice, a price target, or a valuation opinion.

  • Capital efficiency — 20% — valuation generated per dollar of capital raised. More valuation per dollar in scores higher.
  • Revenue-multiple sanity — 18% — how close the implied valuation/revenue multiple sits to a ~18× reference. Extreme multiples in either direction score lower.
  • Capital scale (valuation) — 16% — log of current valuation; larger, more-established companies score higher.
  • IPO-window status — 16% — filed / public / merger scores highest, rumored or expected next, fully private lowest.
  • Investor-network depth — 16% — number of disclosed investors; deeper syndicates score higher.
  • Financing freshness — 14% — months since the last round; recent rounds score higher and the signal decays as a mark ages.

Why this closes an institutional-data gap

Institutional-grade comp workflows are not just profile pages. They let users construct comparable sets, save lists, sort by company and investor attributes, benchmark valuation context, and identify market-map outliers. QuantLogix already had private-company profiles and investor data; this module adds the missing compare-and-map step.

QL score is a directional composite from valuation scale, revenue multiple sanity, capital efficiency, freshness of last financing, IPO-window status, and investor-network depth. It is an analytical aid, not investment advice.
