QuantLogix Launches QL Agent Answers: Pay-Per-Answer Market Intelligence for AI Agents
What launched
QuantLogix today launched QL Agent Answers, the first market-intelligence API an AI agent can buy by itself. Any agent POSTs a question and receives an HTTP 402 payment challenge under the open Machine Payments Protocol (mpp.dev, co-authored by Stripe and Tempo); settling the challenge with any MPP wallet — one command with Stripe's link-cli — returns a grounded answer for $0.50. There is no account, no API key, and no subscription: the payment is the authentication.

Answers draw on the same engine behind quantlogix.ai — five-factor signals across 5,000+ stocks and 4,900+ ETFs, fundamentals, multi-source news with sentiment, options flow, and pre-IPO/private-market intelligence covering 2,100+ companies. Every answer ships with an answer record: a point-in-time-stamped, SHA-256-hashed receipt whose directional stances are graded against actual market prices at T+30 on the same public machinery as QuantLogix's verified track record, with the aggregate scoreboard published from day one. A stablecoin rail bringing per-answer pricing down to the $0.10 range is rolling out.
The QL Read
AI agents are becoming the largest consumers of market data, and the incumbent model — sales calls, annual contracts, per-seat API keys — was built for humans. Machine-payable HTTP endpoints invert that: distribution becomes a protocol, not a pipeline. QuantLogix is the first market-data platform to ship one, and pairing machine payments with a graded public record answers the question every agent builder should be asking of a data vendor: not just "can my agent buy this?" but "was it right?"
