KKR has launched Helix Digital Infrastructure, a new platform backed by $10 billion in committed capital targeting data centers, power, and AI-related digital infrastructure. The firm cited accelerating demand for compute capacity as a primary driver. GPU-based compute, where Nvidia is the dominant supplier, underpins the hyperscale AI workloads the platform is designed to serve. Helix will focus on acquiring and developing large-scale infrastructure assets designed to support hyperscale and enterprise AI workloads across North America and Europe.
