Room Workflow
1. Start the room Pick a template and a team — the agenda checklist is pre-loaded into the room notebook the moment the room opens, so the structure is on screen before anyone talks. 2. Capture the discussion Live transcript, screen share, co-watch, ✨ AI meeting summary, and 📊 trade-idea extraction — ideas file against the live 5-factor signal on your team record. 3. Save to your team Notebook and summary save into QL Notes in the QL Collab channel you pick (default #ai-drafts), and a link is posted to the channel so the team sees it in chat.
After the room
Ask QL Intelligence about it “Summarize my last research room”, “what did we decide about NVDA in the thesis room?” — QL Intelligence can list your meetings, read the transcript, and summarize any room you were in. Continue in QL Collab The saved note, the posted channel link, and any filed trade ideas live with your team — pick the thread up in channels, or spawn the next room straight from a channel with Desk review. Or from your tools The same meeting tools (list, transcript, summary) are on the MCP connector and the ql CLI — pull a room transcript into Claude, Cursor, or a script.
Research Rooms reuse QuantLogix's existing org permissions. Room creation and joining still require the same signed-in, Pro+ video-room access as the standard Rooms surface.
