QL Score

One number per private company — computed from disclosed fundamentals, IPO trajectory and momentum across 2,100+ companies, with the methodology published below and a forward-only public grading record: every time a disclosed valuation reprices, the score that was standing gets graded, hit or miss, and the running calibration is published here. A score nobody can check is a score nobody should quote.

The record graded forward-only

High scores (65+) claim the next disclosed repricing is UP; low scores (35 and under) claim DOWN; mid scores make no directional claim and are never counted either way. Repricings under ±5% don't grade — restatements aren't outcomes. The record starts empty and is never backfilled.

Methodology — v1.0.0, weights frozen

The QL Score blends three published pillars. Weights are frozen per version; changing them is a version bump, and every history point carries the version that produced it, so the grading record never silently mixes methodologies.

A pillar with no underlying data is excluded and the remaining weights renormalized — never defaulted to 50 — and each score carries a confidence level (how many pillars actually spoke). Acquired or defunct companies score null: a company that no longer trades privately has no forward claim to grade. Bands: 80+ Elite · 65+ Strong · 50+ Developing · 35+ Challenged · under 35 Distressed.
