Founded in 2025 by former Tinder and Match Group executive Taru Kapoor (CEO) and Rajat Sahni, formerly CEO of CarDekho's used-car business, it raised a $10.5M seed round from Peak XV Partners, Shine Capital and Blume Ventures. Former Tinder and OkCupid CEO Elie Seidman is an early investor and adviser. Inc42 reports that Rivet also has an office in Delhi NCR, where most of its engineering and machine-learning staff work.
