Omen AI sells a 'blood test' for the machines powering the AI buildout: tiny spectrometers that attach to a fluid loop - chip coolant, HVAC water, engine oil - and read equipment health continuously instead of the industry's mail-a-sample-and-wait-days workflow. The urgent use case is liquid-cooled AI data centers, where operators running chips hotter dilute the biocide mix and get bacterial outbreaks that clog cooling loops; a flush can take a rack down for five or six hours at a cost of millions. Founded in 2024 by Zach Laberge - who started his first sensor company at 14 in Nova Scotia, raised $3M for construction-equipment telematics, and dropped out of high school - Omen began on heavy machinery through Caterpillar dealerships, then pivoted when those dealers' turbine work exposed how much unmonitored fluid sits inside data centers. It raised a $10.5M CRV-led seed in October 2025 and a $31M Series A led by Nava Ventures in June 2026 ($41.5M total), with Sheryl Sandberg, Mann+Hummel and executives from Bridgestone, GM, Johnson Controls and customer TensorWave participating.

Products
Permanent inline sensor - one-time non-invasive install on a machine's fluid loop; continuously tracks metal content, bio-contamination, wear patterns and fluid degradation
Portable diagnostic unit - the same spectroscopic analysis in a field-service form factor for on-site diagnosis
Both form factors analyze 21+ elemental signatures simultaneously (copper/chromium flag pump wear, silicon flags seal wear, bacterial growth flags coolant contamination)
Subscription pricing per megawatt for data-center deployments
