Ghost

Core: a $3,499 screenless personal computer built to run private, always-on AI agents locally
Ghost is a San Francisco startup led by 19-year-old founder and CEO Zain Javaid, a former quant, with co-founders Nicholas Chua, Yifei Chen and Gautam Sharda. Its first product, Core, is a $3,499 screenless personal computer built to run AI agents continuously and locally: it bundles an Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 SFF Blackwell GPU, ships with Qwen and Gemma models preinstalled, centralizes a user's data from desktop, apps and smart-home devices, and keeps memory and data encrypted on the device so neither cloud providers nor Ghost can read them. Users reach it through a phone app or voice, control how much autonomy the agents get, and a firewall flags any agent request that would misuse credentials or exfiltrate data. Units are built in San Francisco; preorders opened October 5, 2026 with shipping planned for late October. Ghost emerged from stealth that day with an $11M seed led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel and Nova.
