Agentiq

Fan-to-athlete investment platform: Reg A offerings in a share of athletes' future brand income
Agentiq (Agentiq Sports, Inc.) lets fans invest in professional athletes. Each athlete offering runs through its own series of a Delaware Series LLC, which gives the athlete non-debt capital plus brand advisory services in exchange for a percentage of future on-field 'Brand Income'. Fans buy units through SEC-qualified Regulation A Tier 2 offerings; for example, the Ronny Cruz offering is up to 12,900 units at $100. Signed athletes include Justin Martinez (Diamondbacks), Esmerlyn Valdez (Pirates), Hunter Dobbins (Cardinals), Ronny Cruz and Carlos Virahonda. It targets 50+ athletes within 12 months from a pipeline of 200+ across MLB, the NFL and other leagues (company claims). It was formed in November 2025 in New York by CEO Zach Kurtz, a former D1 baseball player at Richmond, and CTO Reuben Abraham, previously at Pave and NerdWallet. Despite the name, it is a sports-fintech company, not an AI-agents company. On 2026-10-07 it announced $4M co-led by defy.vc and a group led by the owner of two major European football clubs.
