QL Pre-IPO Access Desk
How do you actually get exposure to a private company?
Most answers to this question are a marketplace advertising itself. This one starts from public filings: registered funds disclose their private holdings quarterly on SEC Form N-PORT, including what share of the fund's net assets each position is. Those funds trade publicly — so for a large slice of the private market, the real answer is a ticker and a percentage, with no accreditation, no minimum and no venue.
Where that route does not exist, this desk says so. For most private companies there is no way in, and an unsolicited offer of pre-IPO shares in a company with no disclosed route is a well-worn fraud pattern.
Pick a company to see every route into it.
