Methodology

  • One edition per calendar quarter, starting Q3 2026. While the quarter runs, the edition is a preliminary quarter-to-date read and says so; on the first day after the quarter ends it becomes the final, dated edition.
  • The cohort is every operating-company common-stock IPO on the NYSE, Nasdaq and NYSE American in the quarter. SPACs, units, preferreds and OTC listings are excluded. Proceeds are as disclosed; deals without a disclosed size are counted but excluded from proceeds totals.
  • Pricing vs range compares the final issue price with the marketed range in the last amended filing. Day-one pop is the first session's close against the issue price; return since issue is the latest close against the issue price. Names without a daily tape show empty cells, never zero.
  • Lockup dates follow a rule — listing date plus 180 days unless a curated expiry is on the identity map. Unlock size is shares outstanding less shares offered and is never estimated when either is missing.
  • Two sections are models and are labelled MODELED wherever they appear: the allocation simulator (equal notional per deal at the issue price, no fees, no allocation haircut) and the outlook (a linear run-rate and trailing-quarter scenarios).
  • Free readers see the KPIs and the first two sections. The full report is part of Pro. A QL IPO Quarterly Report is a dated research document, not audited financials or investment advice.

Frequently asked questions

What is the QL IPO Quarterly Report?

A dated quarterly report on the companies that crossed from the private market to the public one: every operating-company IPO of the quarter on the NYSE, Nasdaq and NYSE American, priced against its marketed range, its day-one pop and its return since the issue price, plus deal-size, exchange and sector mix, the cohort's lockup calendar, the private roster's graduates and its filed, expected and rumored pipeline, an allocation simulator and a clearly labelled modeled outlook. The first edition covers Q3 2026.

Where do the numbers come from?

From exchange listing records and offering terms, daily closing prints since listing, the QuantLogix private-company roster and the private-to-public identity map. Proceeds are as disclosed; deals without a disclosed size are counted but excluded from proceeds totals. Lockup dates follow a published rule, and the two modeled sections are labelled as models.

Who can read the full report?

The headline KPIs and the first two sections are free to every reader. The full report, including the league table, debut and aftermarket analysis, deal-size, exchange and sector mix, the private-to-public bridge, the lockup calendar, the allocation simulator and the outlook, is part of the Pro plan.

When does each edition publish?

A preliminary quarter-to-date edition is live throughout the quarter and becomes the final edition on the first day after the quarter ends; the Q3 2026 final publishes on 1 October 2026.
